We have managed to have more than 600 participations in the questionnaire we prepared for EURO 2024 in Germany and for the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. A great success. To find out the organisational status of the two biggest and most important events in Europe in 2024.
Without having yet carried out the final analysis of both events, we can say that both have been a success in terms of organisation and public attendance, making them probably two references that will be used as good practices in future organisations.
The main problems we have found are linked to the different marketing campaigns that have been carried out. In the main analyses we have made, we have been able to see how a good idea has ended up with a concept that seems not to have impacted the attendees in the way it was expected.
However, as we have said, all these data help us to take note and promote events that continue to support inclusion so as not to create any kind of barriers for the attendees, who after all are the ones who attend the different competitions.
We will say goodbye to the project in Thessaloniki, where our partners Youthorama will organise the Final Conference and show the results obtained during this year of the project.
Even though the project is coming to an end, we will continue to promote it in the different events we participate in and we will continue to support this type of organisation.
For our part we say goodbye to the project with the faith that some of the considerations that come out of this project can be taken into account and implemented in any sporting event. We did not want to say goodbye without congratulating the volunteers and their work both in training and human, being one of the essential factors.
And let us not forget the indispensable support of the European Commission, whose co-funding has enabled us to realise the project.
