Vienna (Austria), Jan. 2023

Our president Carlos Prieto, has participated in another edition of the Respect Your Talent Camp, organized by the EHF.

Respect Your Talent, part of the EHF Master Plan 2020-2027,  promotes the holistic development of talented players on and off the handball court. More than 1,000 participants from all over Europe have benefited from the programme since its launch in 2019. In the programme’s pioneering approach, the world’s best handball players supported by leading field experts inspire and instruct young athletes covering topics such as dual career, anti-doping, mental fitness, media or sports law.

For this second edition, 30 of the most talented male players from the M18 category gathered in Vienna, Austria between 27 and 29 January for the Respect Your Talent (RYT) Camp 2023. A training camp for some of Europe’s most talented young handballers to develop their skills and gain valuable first-hand experience in off-court matters, the RYT Camp featured players from 19 countries.

In this edition, Carlos and the other ambassadors and experts had more time to work with young people and many of the sessions have been dedicated to group work and where again, the interaction between all has been one of the keys of the Camp.

For Carlos, the topics chosen this year were Dual Career and Communication.
